Miami Archbishop Makes Good On NBA Finals Bet

The Archbishop of Miami, Thomas Wenski, is making good on his bet with the Archbishop of San Antonio Gustavo Garcia-Siller.

The two had made a friendly wager over the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs matchup in the NBA Finals.

Now that the Miami Heat lost, the Archdiocese of Miami confirms that Wenski has sent Garcia-Siller "humble pie" in the form of authentic Florida Key lime pies, Cuban coffee, including a Cuban coffee maker, and "not-so-sour" grapefruits as well.

After learning that Garcia-Siller like pecan pie, Archbishop Wenski included that in his shipment, too.

Wenski will also be making a personal donation of $500 dollars to the Archdiocese of San Antonio's Catholic Charities.
