With just weeks until the start of the season, the University of Miami football team is going to be down a quarterback.
Redshirt Freshman Kevin Olsen is reportedly being suspended for one game after failing a drug test.
Olsen was expected to compete for the starter role for the Canes after Ryan Williams tore his ACL in the Spring.

Miami Hurricanes QB Kevin Olsen will be suspended for at least 1 game this season for failed drug test. No comment from UM at this point.— Adam Kuperstein (@AKuperstein) August 1, 2014
Kevin Olsen was also suspended for the Canes Bowl game last season. Jake Heaps is likely starter. Will compete with the Freshmen.— Adam Kuperstein (@AKuperstein) August 1, 2014
Disappointing news regarding Kevin Olsen. #UM has yet to confirm. But not surprising considering his history. This is why Heaps is here— Manny Navarro (@Manny_Navarro) August 1, 2014
